Terms of Service — Kepton
Agreement
By downloading or using Kepton, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Service
Kepton is a local, on-device tool. You may import chat exports, draft replies, and view conversation pattern insights and Analysis as observations — not as professional advice. Chats are processed on your device. The only intended network use is an optional one-time AI model download that you start.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Kepton.
User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use Kepton only with data you may lawfully process.
- Remain solely responsible for messages you send after using a draft.
- Not use the app to harm, harass, or defraud others.
- Treat Insights and Analysis as observations about message data — not as advice.
Gemma models
The app may download and run Google Gemma-family models under the Gemma Terms. You must comply with the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy; prohibited uses under that policy are prohibited under these Terms. Outputs are your responsibility.
No professional advice; no characterization product
Kepton is not psychological, medical, or legal advice. It does not diagnose people or label personality. Insights and Analysis describe patterns in data; they are not character assessments.
Optional features
The overlay bubble and notifications are optional. Denying related permissions may disable those surfaces while other features continue to work where possible.
Intellectual property and open source
The Kepton app and branding are owned by Webonika or its licensors. Open-source notices appear in-app. Model weights are subject to their own terms.
Disclaimer
Kepton is provided “AS IS.” We do not make absolute security or privacy guarantees. Marketing and documentation describe factual on-device behavior only. We do not promise that outputs are always correct.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webonika is not liable for indirect damages, for messages you send, or for third-party content in exports you import.
Termination
You may uninstall Kepton at any time. Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
