Custom software & BI

Custom software and BI dashboards

When off-the-shelf software forces your team into workarounds, we build the system around how you actually work, and give management dashboards that show what is happening today.

When custom software makes sense

Off-the-shelf software is the right answer for many problems, and we will tell you when it is. Custom software makes sense when your process is a competitive advantage, when you are stitching four tools together with spreadsheets, when per-user licences have become expensive, or when no product fits an Indian workflow such as GST billing, multi-location dealer networks or vernacular field teams. Our comparison of custom AI and off-the-shelf tools walks through the trade-offs.

What we build

  • Inventory and warehouse management. Multi-location stock, batch and expiry tracking, barcode and QR scanning, reorder alerts and stock transfers.
  • Billing and order management. GST-compliant invoicing, quotations, order tracking, dealer and distributor portals, and payment collection.
  • CRM and sales tools. Lead capture from every source, pipelines, field-sales apps with visit logging, and automated follow-ups.
  • Operations apps. Job cards, maintenance schedules, quality checklists, attendance and field-service apps that work on a phone, including offline.
  • Customer and partner portals. Self-service order status, documents, support tickets and payments.
  • BI dashboards. Sales, collections, inventory, production and marketing dashboards pulling live from your systems.

Dashboards people actually use

Many dashboards fail because they show everything and answer nothing. We start from the decisions each person makes every week: which customers to chase, which products to reorder, which branch is slipping. We design one screen per role around those questions, with the numbers that drive them. Data is pulled automatically from your ERP, accounting software, CRM, spreadsheets and our own apps into a central warehouse on Google Cloud (BigQuery), cleaned, and refreshed on a schedule. We build dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI or a custom web app, depending on who uses them and your existing licences.

We also add AI where it earns its place: plain-language questions over your data ("which distributors in Pune ordered less this month than last?"), automatic commentary on what changed, demand forecasts and anomaly alerts.

How we build

Discovery and design

We map the workflow, the users, the data and the reports, then produce clickable screens so your team can try the flow before any code is written.

Iterative build

We build in short cycles, demoing working software every week or two. Your team uses it early, and feedback shapes the next cycle.

Migration and launch

We migrate data from spreadsheets and old systems, run the old and new side by side where needed, train users and launch in phases.

Support and growth

An annual maintenance contract covers hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates, bug fixes and small changes. Larger features are scoped separately.

Technology

We build modern web apps and mobile apps (Android first, iOS where needed) on Google Cloud, using managed databases, authentication and storage so the system is secure, backed up and able to scale without a server team. You own the code and the data. Everything is documented so another team could maintain it if you ever need them to.

Who we build for

Our custom software clients are typically growing SMEs in manufacturing, retail and distribution, logistics, healthcare and education, often after outgrowing spreadsheets or a basic accounting package. Software is usually the foundation that makes our automation and generative AI work possible, because AI needs clean, connected data.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the code and data?

You do. The source code, documentation and data belong to you, the system runs in a cloud account you control or can take over, and everything is documented so another team could maintain it.

Is custom software more expensive than a SaaS tool?

The upfront cost is higher, but there are no per-user licence fees, and the system fits your process so you avoid workaround labour. For larger teams and long horizons it is often cheaper overall. We help you compare honestly.

Can you integrate with Tally and our existing ERP?

Yes. We regularly integrate with Tally, Zoho, SAP Business One and other ERPs and accounting systems, so the new software and dashboards work alongside what you already run.

Which BI tool do you use for dashboards?

It depends on your users and licences. We build in Looker Studio, Power BI or as a custom web dashboard, with data centralised in BigQuery on Google Cloud.

Do your apps work offline for field teams?

Yes. Mobile apps for field sales, service and inspection can work offline and sync when a connection returns, which matters in factories, warehouses and rural areas.

What does ongoing support include?

Our annual maintenance contract covers hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates, bug fixes and minor changes. New features are scoped and quoted separately.
